next is from some of the greatest in the underground still-
PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS- Highlighter
honestly not my favorite production on the album as a whole, considerting how excellent the rest of their catalog is, but lyrically Thes One and the Double K NEVER DISAPOINT on this project. Don't get me wrong, there are some bangers here and there & the whole thing is TOP quality rhymes. In fact my sole criticism of their last album does not apply here, where the first ten tracks or so were just butter on Carried Away, it ended on a rather corny note rapping BS about chicken kabops and dentist trips like they ran out of subject matter towards the second half of the album whereas they spit quality on through to the end on this one. Just not quite the same level of beats on Highlighter as you might expect, I still haven't found a san francisco nights or Outrage equivalent on this one yet. Club-bangers or no, Highlighter Still beats majority of crap released nowadays no doubt!
